UCP setup works on any Shopify plan, including Basic. Some advanced features like Agentic Storefronts may require Shopify Plus or access through Shopify’s beta programs. Check your admin panel for the latest availability.
Go to your Shopify admin, navigate to Settings, then look for the Agentic Storefronts option under Sales Channels or Apps. If available, toggle it on and follow the setup prompts. Shopify is rolling this out in phases, so it may not be visible for all stores yet.
This feature is being rolled out gradually. If you don’t see it yet, you can join the waitlist through Shopify’s admin or contact Shopify support. In the meantime, you can still optimize your product data and structured content to be ready when access opens up.
