The right Amazon marketing agency depends on which problem you actually have. Some agencies run your ads and nothing else. Some take over the whole channel. A few focus on the search and AI layer that now decides which products get recommended at all.
This guide is for ecommerce brands doing $1M to $50M in revenue that sell on Amazon and are deciding who to hire. Below you’ll find a short answer, a comparison of seven agencies, the criteria we used, what each one costs where pricing is public, how Alexa for Shopping changes the brief, and answers to the questions buyers ask most.
95 Projects publishes this guide and ranks itself first. We applied the same criteria to every agency, including our own, and linked to the public source for every result and price below. All sources were reviewed October 27, 2026.

We assessed every agency against the five criteria below using only what each one publishes on its own website. If a claim wasn’t public, we left it out rather than guess.
A case study is only useful if you can tell when it happened, what was measured and what the brand looked like before. “Sales up 500%” from a $10,000 starting point is a different story from the same number on a $2M account. We gave more weight to agencies that publish named clients, specific metrics and a clear time frame, and less weight to aggregate claims that can’t be checked.
Ask: “Can you show me a case study from the last 12 months for a brand at my revenue level, with the starting numbers included?”
Partner badges matter because they show an agency has met Amazon’s own requirements. They also go out of date. A badge on a website might reflect a year that has passed. Amazon keeps a public Amazon Ads partner directory, and it takes about a minute to confirm whether an agency is listed today and at what level.
Ask: “What is your current partner status, and where do you appear in the Amazon Ads partner directory?”
Growing Amazon revenue by spending more on ads is easy. Growing it profitably is the job. ACoS tells you how efficient your ads are. TACoS (total advertising cost of sale) tells you how much of your total revenue goes to ads, which is closer to what your P&L feels. Contribution margin tells you whether the growth made you money after fees, COGS and ad spend. We favored agencies that report on TACoS or profit rather than revenue alone.
Ask: “Will you report on TACoS and contribution margin every month, and what targets would you set for my account?”
Most Amazon agencies don’t publish pricing. That doesn’t make them bad, but it does mean you need to get the full fee structure in writing before you sign. Watch for percentage-of-revenue fees that grow faster than your margin, setup fees and minimum terms. We noted where pricing is public and labeled everything else “not published.”
Ask: “What will I pay in month one and month twelve at my current ad spend, and what is the notice period to cancel?”
The person on the sales call is often not the person managing your campaigns. Larger agencies can offer more specialists. Smaller ones can offer more senior attention. Neither is automatically better, but you should know which you’re buying.
Ask: “Who will be my day-to-day contact, how many accounts do they manage, and how often will I speak with someone senior?”
95 Projects is a search agency that runs SEO, Google PPC and GEO (AI search) for ecommerce, SaaS and B2B brands doing roughly $1M to $50M a year.
95 Projects is best for $1M–$50M ecommerce brands that want Amazon, Google and AI shopping agents like Alexa for Shopping, ChatGPT and Meta Muse worked as one search program, with a senior strategist on the account.
On Amazon, our work sits on the search and AI side. We help ecommerce brands get their products recommended across AI search, from Alexa for Shopping (formerly Amazon Rufus) to ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity. Our guide to Amazon’s AI assistant covers how those recommendations are formed. The goal is simple: when a shopper asks an AI agent what to buy, your product should be the answer, whether the question is asked on Amazon, Google or ChatGPT.
Public proof points include Buoy reaching the #1 ChatGPT recommendation for “best electrolytes with no sweeteners” in 3 weeks (Buoy case study), Catchmaster’s Shopify SEO program driving 13K+ collection page clicks and 6K+ sales clicks (Catchmaster case study), and Vintage Luxe moving from position 18 to #1 in 90 days (Vintage Luxe case study).
From $5,000/month (published).
We’ll run your buyers’ shopping prompts in Alexa for Shopping, ChatGPT and AI Mode and show you who wins them.

Ad Badger combines Amazon PPC software with a managed PPC service and is an Amazon Verified Partner. It is one of the few agencies in this space that publishes pricing on its managed service page.
Ad Badger says its managed service is built for sellers spending $5,000 to $200,000 a month on ads; the same page also references Amazon businesses spending over $10,000 a month. Case studies include rmdy, with 68% lower ACoS and 133% higher ROAS in one month, and Woodies, with 216% revenue growth and 47% lower ACoS.

Pattern’s model is different from the rest of this list. Its SPANX case study reports +120% YoY ad sales and +101% YoY new-to-brand ad sales.
Not published. Under a 3P model the partner sells your products as the seller, so ask exactly how Pattern’s margin and fees are structured.

Amazon agencies charge in one of five ways:
Among the competitors in this guide, only Ad Badger publishes numbers: $975/month base plus 8% of managed ad spend, with a $2,500/month minimum engagement. At $25,000 in monthly ad spend, that structure works out to $2,975 a month. 95 Projects publishes a starting price of $5,000/month for its search program. Canopy Management, Incrementum Digital, My Amazon Guy, Pattern and Podean do not publish pricing.
Whatever model you choose, get a written quote at your current ad spend and at double it. A fee that looks cheap at $10,000 in spend can look very different at $50,000.
On May 13, 2026, Amazon renamed its shopping assistant Rufus to Alexa for Shopping (Amazon, May 13, 2026). Shoppers now ask it questions directly in the Amazon search bar and get product recommendations before they browse results.
On June 11, 2026, Amazon Ads announced sponsored ads inside Alexa for Shopping, with existing campaigns automatically eligible (Amazon Ads, June 11, 2026). Your current Sponsored Products campaigns may already be showing in those answers, whether or not you planned for it.
This changes the agency brief. Ad management still matters, and an Amazon advertising agency is the right hire for bids, budgets and campaign structure. But the organic answer Alexa for Shopping gives depends on how well your listings, reviews and wider web presence answer shopper questions. The same shopper is also asking ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity, which draw on reviews, comparison articles and brand sites outside Amazon.
Our guide to Alexa for Shopping explains how it chooses products, and our comparison of AI shopping agents shows how Amazon’s assistant differs from ChatGPT, Google and Meta. For the broader strategy, see our guide to generative engine optimization.
Many brands in the $5M to $50M range pair two of these: an Amazon PPC or full-service agency for the marketplace itself, and a search agency for AI shopping visibility and Google. If that’s you, our reviews of the best SEO agencies for ecommerce brands and the best GEO agencies for ecommerce brands cover the search side in more depth.
An agency makes sense when you need experience you can’t hire quickly. A good Amazon agency has seen many accounts, knows how Amazon’s ad products behave and can start without a ramp-up period. For most brands under $10M, a single in-house hire can’t match the range of a specialist team. When you compare costs, add salary, tools and management time to the in-house side, not just salary.
In-house starts to win when Amazon is a large share of revenue and decisions need to move faster than a monthly agency call allows. Many brands land on a hybrid: one in-house owner who knows the product and margins, working with an agency that brings the specialist execution. Whichever route you choose, keep ownership of your Seller Central and Amazon Ads accounts in your company’s name so you never lose access or history if you switch partners.

An Amazon marketing agency helps brands grow sales on Amazon. Depending on the agency, that can include Amazon Ads management, listing optimization, A+ content and Brand Store design, seller operations or full channel management. Some, like 95 Projects, focus on making products visible in AI shopping answers on Amazon and across the wider web.
Pricing varies by model: flat retainers, a percentage of ad spend, a percentage of revenue, hybrids or a 3P reseller margin. Ad Badger publishes $975/month plus 8% of managed ad spend with a $2,500/month minimum, and 95 Projects publishes a starting price of $5,000/month. Most other Amazon agencies quote on request, so ask for a written quote at your current and projected ad spend.
For brands at the lower end of the $1M to $50M range, the best fit is usually an agency whose pricing and focus match your budget. Ad Badger publishes its pricing and states a fit range starting at $5,000 a month in ad spend, which makes it easy to check before you call. If your bigger concern is whether AI shopping agents recommend your products, 95 Projects is built for that.
Search for the agency in the Amazon Ads partner directory. The directory shows whether the agency is listed today and which capabilities it’s verified for. Don’t rely only on a badge on the agency’s website, since badges can be from a previous year.
Pick a PPC specialist if your listings, creative and operations are in good shape and ads are the main lever left. Pick a full-service agency if you need help across listings, design, inventory and ads and don’t have someone in-house to coordinate it all. Either way, ask both to report on TACoS so you can compare them on profit, not only sales.
It depends on the work. Ad changes can show up quickly; Ad Badger’s rmdy case reports lower ACoS within one month. Search and AI visibility take longer to build but compound, with examples like Buoy reaching the top ChatGPT recommendation in 3 weeks and Vintage Luxe reaching #1 in 90 days. Treat any single case study as one result, not a guarantee.
Some do, in different ways. Since June 11, 2026, existing Amazon ad campaigns are automatically eligible for sponsored placements in Alexa for Shopping, so any Amazon advertising agency is already touching it through your ads. Organic recommendations depend on how well your products answer shopper questions on and off Amazon, which is the work 95 Projects does across Alexa for Shopping, ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. To see where you stand today, book a call.
